Muay Thai and kickboxing highlight of the most famous nak muay on the planet - Buakaw Banchamek.
Formerly known as "Buakaw Por Pramuk", Buakaw took the international kickboxing scene by storm in 2004 by dominating the K1 World Max tournament and becoming a global superstar in the process. He has brought Muay Thai to the world stage and is an ambassador for the sport all over the world.
There was a lot of buzz about Buakaw vs Yodsanklai but, since Yod recently retired due to a reoccurring knee problem, that fight will unfortunately never happen. If it did, it would have been the biggest fight in Thai boxing history due to the fame and success of both Buakaw and Yod outside of the Thailand fight scene.
That being said, it would have been great to see the pair fight many years ago while Buakaw was still in his prime.
Buakaw won the K1 World Max tournament in 2004 and 2006. He should also have won it in 2014 - but that's a different discussion!
Some of the fighters featured in this highlight include Andy Souwer, Taishin Kohiruimaki, Masato Kobayashi, Jordan Tai, Dzhabar Askerov, Zaripov Rustem, Mauro Serra, Abdoul Toure, Frankie Giorgi, Nishikawa Tomoyuki, David Calvo and Enriko Kehl.
